Lauren Goodger has explained how her touching tribute to late daughter Lorena was made “special” by using her ashes in the tattoo ink.
The former Towie star suffered a devastating loss with the death of Lorena, her second child with her former boyfriend Charles Drury, moments after she was born.
Lauren poignantly marked her little girl's short life by having “Lorena” tattooed on the side of her forearm.
The 35-year-old took to Instagram to show her 854,000 followers a new photo of her ink and explain the special tribute, which shows Lorena’s name written in cursive and a butterfly.
Lauren wrote in her Instagram stories on Sunday: “So my Lorena tattoo has been tattooed with her ashes.
“It’s something special. Her ashes are now tattooed in me forever.
“Everyday I go through my list that is full of things I have to do either for my babies, my home, my future for my Larose and my [angel emoji] baby… this was one on my list that was on my mind everyday and I’m so glad it’s [tick emoji].”
The reality star had already posted a new picture of the tattoo captioned “Today... for you my baby girl” sound-tracked by Celine Dion’s A Mother’s Prayer.
Lauren and Charles also have a one-year old daughter called Larose.
Lorena died in July after she was born with two knots in her umbilical cord, which was tied around her neck.
According to the Mail, ten doctors desperately tried to save her but it was too late.
It has been an incredibly difficult time for Lauren, who recently attended the funeral of her ex boyfriend Jake McLean after he died aged 33.
The couple dated from 2012 to 2016, and had reportedly got back together two years ago for a short while.
Jake and his girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou, 31, were in a car when it plunged 70ft off a cliff in Bodrum, Turkey earlier last month.
