Lanes have been shut on both sides of the M60 this morning after a crash.
A car crashed into the central reservation near junction 24 for Denton Island, according to traffic alert service Inrix. A lane is now shut on both the clockwise and anticlockwise carriageways.
The closures are in place between junction 24 and junction 23 for Ashton-under-Lyne. Recovery and repair work is ongoing at the scene.

A tweet posted by MancTraffic said: "M60 j23-24 has 1 lane closed both ways after a car went into the central reservation. Emergency barrier repairs are needed. Very wet conditions means more bumps."
