THE UK Government has been accused of betraying military workers after it emerged that 110 caretakers are facing being made homeless after being made redundant due to plans by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to scrap their roles.

The Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union has said that plans by the Labour government to axe the 125 caretaker roles across the UK would result in 110 of them being left homeless as they currently live in accommodation tied to their employment.
