KSI has suggested Jake Paul is "scared" of a potential fight after announcing his boxing clash with Nate Diaz.
YouTube star Paul recently suffered his first defeat since making the switch to the boxing ring, losing to grudge rival Tommy Fury by split decision in Saudi Arabia in February. It was expected that the 'Problem Child' would take one of two options which included an immediate rematch with Fury or a huge influencer battle with KSI.
KSI and Paul have regularly traded verbal barbs online over a potential fight initially agreeing to a winner-takes-all deal. However the pair recently argued the terms of a deal on social media, which led to alternative fight talks between KSI and Paul's rival Fury over a new potential showdown.
Paul recently announced that he will now step in the ring with ex-UFC veteran Diaz in Dallas this August which came as a surprise to many including KSI. And 'The Nightmare' who will face Joe Fournier in London on May 13, has accused Paul of running away from a potential showdown later this year.
“Ultimately Jake Paul is scared of me," KSI said during a furious rant aimed at Paul in a recent video on his YouTube channel. “I want you to know this Jake, you will always be known as the man who claimed to want to avenge his brother but ultimately was too scared, was too p**sy to actually do it.
“Nate Diaz is a 37-year-old black belt Jiu-Jitsu MMA fighter who happens to throw a punch every now and then. And for me, ladies and gentlemen, that is the problem with Jake Paul, he’s a fraud. And people need to wake up to this fact, he can’t beat boxers. Enjoy your fight with another MMA fighter. When you’re actually ready to man up and end this feud with your boy KSI I’ll be here waiting.”

KSI and Paul have been bitter rivals ever since the former defeated Paul's brother Logan in a second meeting after the pair drew in their maiden white-collar bout. Since then the pair have talked up a bout and had several round of negotiations but a fight has yet to come to fruition.
When announcing his new upcoming clash with Diaz, Paul claimed that his team wanted him to fight rival KSI but he instead decided to step in the ring with Diaz, 37. He said in a statement after the event was announced: “My last fight didn’t end the way I wanted, but the result was the best thing that could have happened to my professional boxing aspirations.
"Now, the world thinks I am vulnerable, when all I am is more focused than ever. My team wanted me to take an easy fight like KSI next, but that’s not how I am built. Nate Diaz is considered one of the most bad-ass fighters of all time, but he and his team have been running their mouths for too long."
