Kris Jenner has disclosed that she recently had a hysterectomy following the discovery of a tumour on her ovary.
The matriarch of the Kardashians became emotional during last week's episode of the Disney+ show while sharing the news with her children.
Doctors recommended the procedure to eliminate any risk associated with the tumour and a cyst that was also found in the area, advising that it was the “best thing” to remove her ovaries and uterus.
Speaking in the latest episode of The Kardashians, Jenner told friends Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick: “I'm gonna have a hysterectomy.
“It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call. They found something, we're here to fix it.
“I'm going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life', referring to her brood of six children.”
Jenner, 68, welcomed Kourtney, 45, Kim, 43, Khloé, 40, and Rob Kardashian, 37, with her first husband Robert Kardashian. She then had Kendall, 28, and Kylie Jenner, 26, with ex husband Caitlin Jenner.
In her confessional, the momager admitted she was feeling “very emotional” about undergoing the procedure: “I'm very emotional about it, because when you're young, you start talking about wanting a family.
“It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again and it's the other side of the process.”
After daughters Khloe and Kim arrived to her home with a cake, flowers and balloons in a bid to cheer her up, Jenner reflected: “I loved being pregnant, loved loved loved being pregnant.”
As throwback snaps of her with various baby bumps flashed on screen, she continued: “I do mourn not ever being able to be pregnant again.
“It was just this delicious time in my life where I felt like everything came to a halt. Life was beautiful. It was the best time of my life, the best years.”
In a teaser for next week's episode, Jenner reassuring told the cameras: “I'm done with my surgery, and I feel great!”
Last week, Jenner, who has openly shared her health struggles, including her hip replacement, on the show, was left tearful as she told her daughters about the tumour and cyst.
Speaking to her daughters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie, the TV star began: “I wanted to tell you guys something because I hadn’t told you yet, but I went to the doctor and I had my scan.
“They found a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary, and so I went to the doctor and Dr A [Dr Thaïs Aliabadi] said I’ve got to have my ovaries taken out.
“I’m just really emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys.”
Jenner became emotional as she discussed this chapter of her life now being "gone” as she addressed her ovary removal – known as an oophorectomy – during an on-camera interview.
