Kim Kardashian Said She Was ‘Mortified’ By Saint’s Rogue Post On Election Day

Kim Kardashian has addressed the rogue post about her eight-year-old son Saint‘s Fortnite account on her Instagram Story that came straight after US Election Day, revealing that the whole debacle made her feel “mortified”.

Following the harrowing results of the US election, Kim Kardashian — who boasts millions of followers on social media and beyond — shared an Instagram Reel promoting her son’s Fortnite account. The post copped a shit tonne of backlash, with many telling the SKIMS founder to “read the room”.

The bizarre post came a week after Kim reportedly shut down her son’s YouTube account after it reposted anti-Kamala Harris — the democratic presidential candidate — videos to its followers.

In an interview on the What In The Winkler? podcast — hosted by Stacey and Zoe Winkler — Kim confirmed the posts were made by her son and reflected on how the incident made her feel.

The discussion kicked off when the trio were talking about how they needed to “give yourself grace” when it came to parenting and when your kiddos act up.

“Like if your kid says a bad word or something where you would be mortified,” Kim spilled.

“It like, I get mortified, like when Saint took my phone today and posted to my page. And my publicist is writing me like, ‘This is what you’re posting on Election Day?’ and I was like, ‘He’s a kid he has no idea.'”

Kim went on to unpack the day Saint reposted politically charged content on his YouTube account which led to her terminating it all together.

“He like reposted a video, something about the election, and I took his account down just because he has to ask me before every post,” Kim continued.

“So he’s just started a Fortnite account, and I’m like, ‘you have got to give yourself grace.'”

Zoe offered Kim some comfort, reminding the SKIMS founder that kids are “going to make a million mistakes”, to which the reality TV star agreed and revealed that she lets her children figure out and experience those situations when they happen rather than coddle them.

“Sometimes I like when kids work it out themselves, and they figured it out themselves. Sometimes we have to intervene,” Kim shared.

Despite this, Kim also admitted that she isn’t that hard on her kids but she is working on “[putting her] foot down”.

“It takes a lot of work,” she continued.

“If I don’t do this now and fight through the tears, as uncomfortable as that is, then they are always going to get their way, the lesson won’t be learned.”

What makes Saint’s account getting shut down even more funny is that it appears that he only got it in September, when Kim promoted his account on her Instagram Story.

In the cheeky announcement, Kim shared a contract Saint must abide by to keep his YouTube channel up and running.

“I am not allowed to comment any personal family information. I am not allowed to film any personal information. I am not allowed to film while North is recording music,” the contract reads.

“I must show my mom or guardian all videos before I post them. I give permission to any grown up if mom says to delete my video for any reason. If I don’t listen to all of the rules, mom could make my page private or delete my account.”

Kim Kardashian’s kids are truly agents of chaos of the Kardashian-Jenner-West clan.

Recently, North West went viral on social media after gifted Kim a diamond necklace that read “skibidi toilet”, while Saint was publicly scolded by the SKIMS founder for flipping off the paparazzi back in 2023.

Ther actions must be hella stressful for her, but honestly, it’s pure entertainment for us!
