Kanye is keeping "calm" despite Kanye's alleged threats in his single Eazy.
In the music video a figure kidnaps and buries a claymation character of the Saturday Night Live star.
A source close to Kim Kardashian told PEOPLE: "Pete is being as calm and cool as possible, but it's not a comfortable thing,"
"This is not his scene. He's a very cool and chill guy."
The lyrics in the song are equally as vicious, where he raps threats against Pete.
"God saved me from that crash, just so I could beat Pete Davidson's ass," he penned.
Last month Kanye went on an Instagram rampage where he shared private messages he had received from ex Kim, 41, and Pete, 28.
The rapper, who legally changed his name to Ye, later shared a snap of him standing on a platform surrounded by clouds and said he's "working on" his communication skills.
"I've learned that using all caps makes people feel like I'm screaming at them. I'm working on my communication," he wrote.
"I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me."
"I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim," he wrote. "I take accountability. I'm still learning in real time. I don't have all the answers. To be [a] good leader is to be a good listener."
However the ceasefire didn't last long, just two hours later he was back with another post - which he has now deleted.
It was of a billboard which read: "Stop telling fathers they should have fought harder to see their children & start asking mothers why he had to fight at all."
Speaking about her future plans with Pete, Kim told Pete Davidson : "I have not filmed with him, and I’m not opposed to it.
"It’s just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away.
She added: "I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season.”
On Valentines Day Kayne, who has bipolar, sent a truck full of roses to Kim's house in a bid to win her back.
His gesture didn't work, and Kim was legally declared single earlier this month, after nearly eight years married to Ye.
