Kim Kardashian has an incredibly strict set of house rules for her $60m mansion

Kim Kardashian runs a tight ship and house guests must adhere to her strict list of rules.

The entrepreneur fought tooth and nail to get sole ownership of her and Kayne West's $60 million Los Angeles mansion, and she's been relishing in it since.

The living room that she brands her "favourite room in the house" is entirely white and her four children aren't allowed to play in it.

Taking up most of the space in the sprawling room is a giant circular shape sofa covered with over 20 cushions covering it.

In one snap she shared to Instagram she is seen playfully running across it, but it's only Kim who's allowed to climb on the sofa.

Kim and Kanye share daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 4, as well as sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3.

"Our home decor taste tends to be minimal and modern but the kids' playroom is the one room in the house where I let them run wild.

"That's where all the markers, paints and colors are ... By the time they're done there, they have no desire to take a pen to our white furniture, lol!"

When they originally got the sprawling property Kim set a rule that there was to be no photos of the inside of the home to be shared on social media.

Even her own reality film crew were banned from showing the inside of the family's home.

Kanye didn't take notice of this rule after he shared three pictures of the mansion not long after the house renovation.

She wasn't impressed and tweeted: "Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?"

Phones are also banned from the dinner table and that the kids have "set social hours".

Speaking on a panel at Beautycon2018, she said: "If you get a phone call ... and you guys are all eating dinner together, never get up and leave and take the call or take it at the table because [if you do] you’re showing your kids that this phone call is more important than them."

"I remember growing up, [with] our home phone, I had rules," she explained. "There were phone hours. And so there should be cell-phone hours. You should never sleep by your phone."

All of Kim's guests are made to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which promises to keep conversations inside the house private.

“Kim’s not very popular with a lot of her kids’ friends’ moms, because she’s so paranoid about even having a basic conversation with them,” a source previously told RadarOnline.com.

Another of her rules is that there is no jewellery on display, a rule she made after she was held at gunpoint in Paris by two men in 2016.

"The very few pieces of jewellery that Kim does still own are being stored elsewhere - under constant supervision - with very elaborate security measures to get to it."

They look her $8million engagement ring before she was bound, gagged and locked in a bathroom.
