Killer police officer Wayne Couzens has admitted exposing himself on three occasions in the months before he murdered Sarah Everard. The former Metropolitan Policer officer pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent exposure between November 2020 and February 2021 at the Old Bailey on Monday.
The incidents took place in woodland and at a McDonald's restaurant. He entered the pleas at the Old Bailey by video link from Frankland jail.
Couzens is currently serving a whole-life sentence for the kidnap, rape and murder of the 33-year-old marketing executive. The off-duty officer killed Ms Everard after approaching her as she walked home in March 2021.
He told her he was a police officer, handcuffed her and put her in his car. He then drove her to near Dover in Kent where he raped and strangled her.
He then burned her body before dumping her remains in a pond. Following her disappearance on March 3, 2021 a major hunt was made for her.
Couzens was arrested on March 9 on suspicion of kidnap but a day later Scotland Yard confirmed the then serving Metropolitan Police officer was being held on suspicion of murder. Two days later, on March 12, police confirmed a body found in Kent earlier that week was that of Miss Everard.
At the latest hearing Couzens could be seen with a long grey beard. He wore a grey tracksuit.

Couzens also pleaded not guilty to an indecent exposure charge relating to an alleged incident in June 2015. The plea was accepted but he will not face trial over the charge as it was left on file.
He will be sentenced on March 6.
