A Kildare family collected a cheque for half a million euro after they won the EuroMillions plus draw last Friday.
The family syndicate, who wish to remain private, said they are still waiting for the news to sink in as they picked up their cheque from Lottery HQ today.
One member said that when they were told of the win they thought it was a prank for TikTok.

The syndicate bought their ticket on the National Lottery app and won a prize of €500,000 after they matched all five numbers in the draw.
After the big win, the National Lottery notified the ticketholder’s online account but they originally read the figure as €500.
"I checked the ticket on the app and thought I’d won €500," they said. "I was absolutely delighted!
"I got another family member to come and check my phone to make sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me, and they were because I’d won €500,000!”
Another syndicate member said: "I thought she was pulling one of these Tik Tok pranks on me. She was just way too calm."
The Kildare syndicate said they have no plans to spend the money yet and hope to keep life going as normal as ever.
"We’ve no plans yet, just really letting it all sink in. We’re very much looking forward to sharing the money with family to help them out," they said.
Meanwhile, tonight’s EuroMillions Jackpot rolls to an estimated €75 Million and the draw will take place later tonight.
