Kieran Tierney will 'surely be asking to leave the club' as his game-time struggles at Arsenal continue reckons a former Gunners star.
Mikael Arteta swooped to bring in Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City in the summer and he's established himself as a key player in the starting team and is now ahead of the former Celtic star in the pecking order. He's likely to be a Player of the Year candidate at the Emirates after what Bacary Sagna describes as a 'key player'.
Tierney's minutes have been restricted from either the bench or the cup competitions. But with Arsenal now out of the Europa League and already eliminated from the FA Cup and the League Cup earlier in the season they are now challenging on one front as they bid to lift the English Premier League crown. They hold a eight point lead over Pep Guardiola's men - having played a game more and are all but assured of Champions League football next term.

The Celtic hero has now joined up with Steve Clarke and the Scotland squad for important qualifiers for Euro 2024 against Cyprus and Spain as talk over his future rumbles on. He's been linked with EPL rivals Newcastle United and with a lack of top team action, Sagna reckons he will be looking to cut ties with the North London side and move on.
Speaking to The Games Room, he said: “He obviously hasn’t been doing amazing and this season the club have brought in Oleksandr Zinchenko, who’s become a key player in the team and in that left-back position.
"I think Zinchenko is here to stay for a long time, so Kieran is going to have to have a discussion with the club. Arsenal are obviously aware of his quality but if Kieran wants to play more, then I’m not sure he’s going to get in ahead of Zinchenko.
"It will be his decision of course and he can still be a part of Arsenal’s squad but as a player you always want to play more, so he will surely be asking to leave the club.”
