Add Kevin Durant to the growing list of supporters in favor of Texas men’s basketball’s decision to promote Rodney Terry from interim to full-time head coach.
The Suns superstar and Longhorns legend took to Twitter following Monday’s news to shout out Terry, who was named the 26th coach in program history after a successful 2022–23 campaign.
Durant tweeted, “well deserved coach @RodneyTerry,” in response to a report noting the 55-year-old coach was set to earn a five-year contract worth $15.3 million.
