Kevin Bridges has taken to social media today (September 26) to thanks his fans in Glasgow.
The comedian, who has recently played 16 shows in the city, all of which were sold-out, was handed the platinum artist award by the SEC.
The comedian’s 16-night sell-out shows at the OVO Hydro for his 'Overdue Catch Up' tour now means that the comedy legend has performed a total of 63 nights and thus kicking off a new awards programme from the venue.

Thanking fans for the first ever Platinum Artist Award the 35-year-old took to Instagram and wrote: "GLASGOW! Well, that was quite the month…
"A genuine thank you to everyone who came out the shows, brilliant audiences and the warmth is appreciated as it always has been over the years.
"After 51 sold out shows over 3 tours, it’s farewell for now to the Hydro but I’ll be back soon doing some cool shit in some smaller places - join my website mailing list for details - I’ll see you out there soon.
"Off to lie down and eat crisps for a few days and then back on the road. Aberdeen next! Have a great week my friends. Kevin x."

In response to his post, many people congratulated the comedian who recently became a dad. One said: "Hilarious as always. Can't wait for the next tour."
Another added: "Went twice it was so good! Well done!"
"Saw you on Saturday 24th Sept which was my 52nd birthday. Couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday. Tears were rolling down my face. Loved it. Now go and snuggle up with your wife & son and enjoy your time off" wrote a third.
