The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) is keen to hire a new coach for the state senior team for the next domestic season. Tinu Yohannan, who was the head coach of the senior squad, is likely to make way for a new candidate if the KCA manages to find a suitable replacement in the coming weeks.
Kerala had failed to advance into the knockouts of Ranji Trophy in the last two seasons and officials of KCA had informed Tinu two months ago that they had plans to have a new man at the helm. Former India pacer, Tinu, who has worked closely with Kerala cricketers in the last decade, will now take charge of KCA’s High Performance Centre in Alappuzha.
