Juventus plot £106m Chelsea transfer raid as Paulo Dybala decision hands Thomas Tuchel setback

Thomas Tuchel looks poised to suffer the consequences of Chelsea's ongoing takeover saga with a summer window raid on the cards. Juventus have added Christian Pulisic to their transfer shopping list as Massimiliano Allgeri looks to replace Paulo Dybala, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport.

The Argentina international has decided to join Inter Milan once his contract ends at the end of the season, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport. Dybala turned his nose up at a new deal with Juventus in March after the Italian side moved the goalposts.

Before Christmas, the 28-year-old agreed a five-year extension with the Bianconeri worth £6.8 million-per-year, according to 90Min. However, Juventus reportedly changed their tune and offered Dybala a revised contract which he rebuffed.

With the Argentine set to leave Turin in the summer, Juventus have set their sights on replacing the forward and are plotting a 'serious' move for Pulisic. The United States captain has featured 34 times for Chelsea this season, directly contributing towards 11 goals.

The 23-year-old has produced moments of magic for the Blues since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, but he's struggled to enjoy a consistent vein of form and cement himself in the starting-eleven. Pulisic faces a growingly uncertain future at Stamford Bridge which has only been fuelled by his father Mark Pulisic, who appeared to have taken a dig at Tuchel in a recent cryptic tweet.

Nonetheless, Tuttosport claim that Juventus are looking to revamp the side ahead of next season, with the Old Lady set to surrender back-to-back Scudetto titles. Allegri has reportedly put together a 15-man transfer shortlist for the summer window which includes Pulisic as well as Chelsea teammates Emerson and Jorginho, who are worth a combined £105.5 million, according to CIES Football Observatory.

Though the Blues are not the only London side to fall victims to Juventus' potential overhaul in the coming months. If Tuttosport are to be believed, the Italian giants have taken an interest in Arsenal centre-half Gabriel Magalhaes too.
