Justin Jefferson Recalls Streaming Vikings-Raiders Game From Ambulance

Justin Jefferson made his long-awaited return from a hamstring injury on Sunday against the Raiders only to get hurt again halfway through the game. The Vikings’ star wideout took a brutal hit from Raiders safety Marcus Epps and left the stadium in an ambulance with a chest injury.

On Wednesday, he clarified that he’s good to go for his team’s matchup against Bengals this weekend and told the story of how he streamed his squad’s eventual 3–0 win from both the ambulance and the emergency room on his phone.

“I was yelling, I was screaming,” Jefferson told reporters Wednesday with a smile. “The people that was really hurt—they was probably annoyed by me. But that was the first time I was in an ambulance, in the ER, so it was definitely an experience for me that I don’t want again.”

Jefferson, 24, has only appeared in six games so far this season and has tallied 38 catches for 598 yards and three touchdowns in his limited time on the field. Minnesota is set to face Cincinnati on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
