Just Stop Oil activists who plotted to bring chaos to motorists with a mass shutdown of the M25 have won a bid to cut their record-breaking jail sentences.

The eco group’s founder Roger Hallam was sentenced to five years in prison and four of his followers, Daniel Shaw, Louise Lancaster, Lucia Whittaker De Abreu, and Cressida Gethin, all received four-year jail terms.
