Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp tore into the Bournemouth hierarchy and sent his commiserations to Scott Parker after the Englishman was sacked on Tuesday morning.
Parker led the Cherries to promotion to the Premier League during his first season in charge but was axed after three consecutive defeats in the top flight. Bournemouth defeated Aston Villa on the opening weekend but lost to Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool by a combined scoreline of 16-0.
Saturday's 9-0 thrashing at Anfield was particularly chastening and Vitality Stadium chiefs took action at this early stage of the campaign as they aim to maintain their Premier League status. However, Klopp took issue with the decision and accused Bournemouth's owners of failing to give Parker the financial backing he needed in the summer transfer window.
