Trent Alexander-Arnold’s hamstring injury ahead of the international break was one of the last things that Jurgen Klopp needed ahead of a crucial few months for Liverpool. But it does highlight the lack of a like for like option that the Reds have at right-back.

Man City made promise by Burnley to boost Liverpool's title hopes
Nick Pope aims to make Raheem Sterling feel small for the second time this week. The pair lined up alongside Sterling for England against Ivory Coast on Tuesday and shared a joke about the height difference between the Burnley goalkeeper and ex-Liverpool winger.
However Pope has said Burnely will not be intimidated when they come up against Manchester City at Turf Moor this weekend, in a game that has implications for Liverpool in the title race. Despite having a poor record against Pep Guardiola’s side, the England international has said Burnley will head into the game in a confident mood.
“Yeah, of course, there’s no fear and also we take confidence from the fact we’ve got good results against the top teams in the last season or two,” Pope said.“I think that’s something that’s great to have because you know what it takes to get results against the top, top teams. Having that in the bank is something you can lean back on.
