Chelsea have reportedly held "internal talks" about the prospect of signing Josip Juranovic from Celtic as the competition heats up for the Croatian right-back.
Juranovic is hot property after starring at the World Cup in Qatar and it's believed that with talks stalling over a new contract at Celtic, the Parkhead club are open to selling him while his value is at its peak. They have already signed Alistair Johnston as a potential contingency plan and it's been reported they will listen to bids north of £15m - with the £8m figure cited earlier on Wednesday seeming too low to be taken seriously unless there are substantial add-ons.
Sky Sports are now reporting that Juranovic has been the subject of "internal talks" at Chelsea as they consider replacements for Reece James, who has been ruled out for the long-term with injury. It's also reported Barcelona are keen if they can find a way round FFP, while Atletico Madrid's longstanding interest remains.
