The upcoming season is going to be a big one for Jacksonville Jaguars pass-rusher Josh Allen. The team picked up his fifth-year option for next season, and they also drafted an edge defender to pair with him in Travon Walker, which should make life easier on the fourth-year player.
With such a big year coming up for him, Allen decided to participate in Von Miller’s Pass Rush Summit this weekend, which is hosted annually by Miller and former Atlanta Falcons defensive end Chuck Smith. This year’s event was held in Las Vegas just as it was last season.
The 2022 Von Miller Pass Rush Summit was amazing. Thank you @VonMiller, @chucksmithnfl, @Coach_Diron & everyone else for a great experience. Loved linking & learning with some of the best pass rushers, coaches & trainers in the game today!

For those unfamiliar with the Pass Rush Summit, it’s simply an annual gathering that edge-rushers attend to learn techniques from each other to help improve their craft on the field. This year’s group of participants included other notables like Chandler Jones, Cam Jordan, Maxx Crosby, and former Jags lineman Calais Campbell, to name a few. Some rookies attended like George Karlaftis, and some college prospects showed up as well.
With such a big season coming up from Allen, it’s good to see him picking the mind of a future Hall-of-Famer in Miller and several other All-Pros and Pro Bowlers heading into this season. While he had a solid 2021 season and earned a 78.5 overall grade, according to Pro Football Focus, there is always room to get better, and hopefully, Allen learned some things that could help him get back to double-digit sack figures.
