Jordan has pledged to offer medical assistance to Lebanon in the wake of the tragic explosions that occurred on Tuesday. The country expressed its readiness to provide any necessary support to treat the thousands of Lebanese citizens who were injured in the incident.
During a phone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi reiterated Jordan's commitment to supporting Lebanon's security, sovereignty, and stability. The Jordanian foreign ministry released a statement highlighting Safadi's assurance of assistance to Lebanon.
Safadi also emphasized the importance of de-escalating tensions in the region and called for an immediate cessation of Israeli aggression in Gaza. He urged for a halt to the dangerous escalation that has been unfolding in the area.
