Jonas Vingegaard reveals Tadej Pogačar messaged him after Tour de France crash, says rivalry has 'become a lot friendlier there in the last couple of years'

Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), in the Yellow Leader Jersey readies to rider stage 11 of the Tour de France alongside Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike), in the Polka dot Mountain Jersey.

After Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike) crashed out of the Tour de France, his long-term rival Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) was one of the first riders to react on the TV broadcast during his yellow jersey interview at the finish of stage 15.

Visibly dejected, the Slovenian declared how the race wouldn't be the same without the two-time winner, who he now considers somewhat of a friend after an initially rockier start to their rivalry as the top GC riders of the current generation.
