John Travolta's daughter gushed over her "role model" dad as he celebrated his 68th birthday.
Ella, 21, who followed in her father's footsteps and is also an actor, shared a sweet throwback snap of her and John under a tree.
She captioned the image: "Happy Birthday to my role model, my best friend, the person who has taught me one of the most valuable lessons in life, kindness," Ella wrote. "I love you with all my heart, Daddy."
In the photo she must be five or six as she perched on her dad's knee under an apple tree.
Fans flocked to comment on the photo, with many praising John for being a good dad.
"Happy birthday to your amazing Dad. You are a beautiful example of what he has taught you," one wrote.
"Happy birthday!!!! From the occasional videos you share, dad and mom did an excellent job raising you. Despite you growing up with famous parents, you are a humble, down to earth girl. So perfect. Cheers to dad on his special day."
A third chimed: "This literally moved me to tears. I’ve been a huge fan of your dad’s all of my life and to know he is as kind as he is talented and charming, is such a wonderful revelation. He (and your beautiful mom) clearly did an amazing job as parents - you are a true gem."
John thanked everyone for the birthday wishes in a video he posted on his own Instagram account.
"Before the night is over, I just want to just — oh gosh, okay — I just wanted to thank you for loving me and caring and wishing me a happy birthday," the actor said. "I really appreciate it."
He added in the caption, "Thank you for the birthday wishes!"
Ella has also launched a music career, with her album 'Dizzy', which came out in November last year.
The proud Grease star wrote on Instagram: "I'm so very proud of you Ella, its amazing! Your thrilled Dad!," he wrote in the comment section of his daughter's post teasing her project.

Last month, she launched her music career with her first single "Dizzy," which she played for her fans in a video on Instagram. John celebrated the occasion on his account, writing, "I'm so excited for Ella!"
John has three children who he shared with his late wife Kelly Preston, who died from breast cancer in July 2020.
Tragically, the couple also lost their son Jett who died in 2006 aged 16.
