Comedian John Oliver torched Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the “floating nightmare” on the USS Abraham Lincoln — after one sailor's mom said her son likened it to a scene out of the Fox TV show American Horror Story.
“Now, Pete Hegseth has claimed that the ship's conditions are being ‘completely misrepresented’ by those who are actually experiencing them, saying we make sure that every ship, every crew, every captain has everything we can provide at every single moment,” Oliver said Sunday on his HBO show, Last Week Tonight. “And if he means to go certifiably insane, I'm inclined to agree with him there.”
