John Goodman, 70, unrecognisable as he shows off incredible 14 stone weight loss

Legendary actor John Goodman looks slimmer than ever after shedding a whopping 200lb (14.3 stone).

The Coyote Ugly star, 70, vowed to change his life to a more healthy one back in 2007 and it appears that he has been sticking to his word.

The Roseanne icon, who previously tipped the scales as 392lb (28 stone), flaunted his slimmed down frame at the 62nd Monte Carlo TV Festival in Monaco at the weekend as he posed for the cameras on the red carpet.

John looked incredible donning a fitted suit jacket which he paired with beige trousers and a yellow tie.

The Flintstones actor first started his weight loss journey back in 2007, when he gave up drinking.

Personal trainer Mackie Shilstone was then on hand to help his weight loss journey even further by introducing John to a "Mediterranean-style eating plan".

This involves focusing on eating fish, nuts, olive oil, vegetables and fruit.

John also works out six days a week, and makes it his goal to hit between 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day.

Back in 2017, he opened up about his weight loss to ABC, saying: "In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a six-pack or whatever and just go back to my old habits.

"This time I wanted to do it slowly. Move, exercise. I'm getting to the age where I can't afford to sit still anymore."

He also told Howard Stern: "I took it slow. I just wanted to change my lifestyle", and admitted new way of living is "an ongoing process for the rest of my life."
