Joe Flacco is set to turn 40 in January, but he made it clear on Sunday that he still has some decent football left in him. And that might have even surprised Anthony Richardson.
Flacco came into the game in the first half to replace Richardson — who left with a hip injury — and helped lead the Colts to a 27-24 win over the Steelers. Flacco threw for two touchdowns and no interceptions, doing just enough for the Colts to hold off the Steelers’ late rally.
But when it came time for the postgame interview, Flacco was especially shocked to hear that he had Richardson admitting that he was cooler than Richardson thought. His response was too good.
"[Anthony Richardson's] mom is 8 days older than I am, so there's no chance in the world he thinks I'm cool." 😂😂😂

Coolness doesn’t have an expiration date. Gotta own that, Joe.
