Joe Burrow takes a slide in top 100 player rankings

The Cincinnati Bengals usually feature three or four players on top 100 lists during the offseason.

And typically, the order sees Joe Burrow go first, with Ja’Marr Chase after, followed by Tee Higgins and sometimes Trey Hendrickson.

In a new top 100 ranking from Pete Prisco of CBS Sports though, Burrow actually falls behind Chase and all the way to 15th, down from third overall last year:

An offer for Bengals fans

He was limited to 10 games in 2023 because of a calf strain followed by a season-ending wrist injury, the latter basically ending the Bengals’ playoff chances. When on the field, he’s a star. But he has to stay there. That’s the only thing holding him back. (Last season: No. 3)

Chase lands at No. 13, while Hendrickson sits 33rd (all the way up from 91st). Higgins gets an “honorable mention” tag.

And while Burrow understandably takes a hit in these rankings because of his injury woes, only two quarterbacks — Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen — actually land above him on the list.
