Jodie Comer looked stunning as she won Best Actress at the Olivier Awards last weekend for her lead role in West End play Prima Facie. Picking up her award at the Royal Albert Hall, the 30-year-old actress styled a minimal makeup look that showed off her flawless complexion.
The actress revealed the beauty secret behind her youthful appearance is an affordable £12.60 anti-blemish skincare product.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Killing Eve star said she swears by the Avene Cleanance Very High Protection SPF50+, which she wears every day whatever the weather.

During the interview last year, Jodie said: "One thing my friend Jasmina, a facialist, is always screaming from the rooftops, is not to sit in the sun and you must always, no matter what the weather, wear SPF. So that's definitely another element to my routine.
“I always go for Avene for because it isn’t too thick; I find that if I put too much product on my skin it gets kind of clogged very easily."
This high protection sunscreen has been created specially for oily skin, and has an ultra-lightweight, non-comedogenic formula which is perfect for blemish-prone skin, as well as a non-sticky mattifying texture.
Yellow-tinted in colour, the cream is said to melt into the skin effortlessly for an invisible finish.
Usually priced at £21 for 50ml, the suncream is currently reduced to £14 on the Escentual website, but shoppers can get it for £12.60 with the code EXTRA10. The extra discount code makes the product cheaper than Boots and LookFantastic, where it’s £16.80 and £15.75 respectively, as well as Amazon, where it’s nearly £17.
Shoppers have hailed the product for not causing breakouts while protecting the skin. One said: “I was not expecting too much but this blows everything out of the water. The colour was a good match and it dries matte. If you have drier skin, moisturiser underneath will mean this isn't overly flat matte.
“I like that it is not the typical shiny finish sunscreen gives and often I just wear this without any foundation/base makeup. Forever repurchase.”
Another added: “I have been buying this for the last couple of years (and I have just tried the tinted version which is lovely) and it's very pleasant, it's an SPF that doesn't cause breakout and keeps skin matte!”
Some have complained about the pump dispenser, however, it appears that the brand has since swapped to a squeezy tube, making it easier to apply.
Ceryn Lawless from Escentual.com said: "Jodie is spot on with using SPF every day. It's absolutely essential to have high-factor sun protection, no matter the weather. The Avene Cleanance Very High Protection SPF50+ was developed for oily, blemish-prone skin and reduces the appearance of post-blemish scars, while offering high level broad spectrum sun-protection and hydration for up to eight hours.
“It's perfect to use under makeup, with a light, non-greasy feel despite providing high protection. Jodie clearly cares for her skin with the premium products she uses, and thankfully this Avene SPF is affordable for most budgets."
Those looking to protect their skin and hopefully replicate Jodie’s glowing skin can find the Avene product for £12.60 on Escentual - or alternatively on Amazon and Boots for slightly more.
