Jodie Comer abruptly stopped her matinee performance in New York due to struggling with poor quality air issues.

The city’s air quality levels spiked to hazardous on Wednesday as Canadian wildfire haze continues. An advisory alert for residents in the city was issued, with schools in NYC and nearby Washington DC not offering outdoor activities.

According to eyewitnesses, the award-winning star of Killing Eve, was ten minutes late for the matinee performance. After three minutes of the show, she announced that she couldn’t proceed, reports the Mirror.
