Joanna Lumley thrilled fans with her commentary at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee pageant this afternoon.
The Absolutely Fabulous star joined Kay Burley and Alistair Bruce on Sky News for the very special event, which took place today and ended up with Queen Elizabeth II herself appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to round off celebrations.
It wasn't known whether the Queen would be able to make it today, but she proudly stood on the balcony for the pageant finale alongside her son Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall as well as Prince William, his wife Catherine and their kids.
Celebrities including Rylan Clark and Holly Willoughby appeared at the pageant whilst there were also cartoon characters for the children and hundreds representatives from all four corners of the UK and across the entire Commonwealth.
Viewers watching the coverage on Sky News heaped praise on Joanna's commentary, calling her "brilliant", "amazing" and "such a delight" as they urged for her to be invited back for the next royal event.

Referencing her famous show, a fifth added: "Joanna Lumley was absolutely fabulous today, very entertaining."
Others said it was Joanna which made the whole Platinum Jubilee Pageant "bearable", whilst another asked for her to be made a "permanent fixture" on the presenting team alongside the likes of Kay Burley.

Joanna had previously spoken of how "kind" the entire Royal Family is, sharing: "If you do meet any member of the Royal Family, they are so kind and so friendly and so polite and not grand. You'll find kindly, good-hearted people."
