Jeremy Clarkson has given an update on his “annoying” prostate cancer battle after winning big at the National Television Awards on Tuesday.
Earlier this year, the 66-year-old revealed in the final episodes of the fifth series of Clarkson's Farm that he had been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of cancer.
He said that it had been caught at a “really early stage” following a diagnosis in May 2025, and also revealed that he had undergone an operation to remove part of his prostate.
In an update after the episode aired, he shared that he is now in remission.
On Tuesday, the Prime Video show took home the first ever Reality Docuseries at the NTAs, a new category recognising the rise of fly-on-the-wall celebrity-led shows.
Speaking to press after his win, Clarkson gave a candid update on his health following the shocking diagnosis.

“I wasn't emotional, it was annoying,” he said, revealing he missed a lot of harvest time due to treatment.
“I had a heart thing and I had a bit of cancer, but we're very lucky to live at a time when the doctors can mend you very quickly and easily, and I wasn't away really.
“How long was I away, two weeks. I think Kaleb would say he was very disappointed when I came back after only two weeks.”
Since launching the show, Clarkson has become a vocal supporter of farmers and even attended a protest in London against the Government’s move to introduce inheritance tax on farmland in November 2024.
He said that his “thrilling” win at the NTAs was a “vote for farmers”.
“The people who voted for us…I also think they kind of voted for farmers. I think they are going ‘oh that is a difficult job’.”
Clarkson also gave an update on the 11 sheep that were stolen from his Diddley Squat farm last week.
The 66-year-old said he discovered the animals were missing when he went to count his flock in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, with co-star Kaleb Cooper, and told those responsible to “put them back” in an interview with The Sun.
He said: “I think it’s a foregone conclusion that you probably ate one of them last night. There’s none on the farm and there’s no blood and guts, so somebody has stolen them and butchered them.
“They were the breeding ewes, which is genuinely annoying. They are £205 each, so over £2000 worth of sheep were stolen. It’s annoying and it’s happening a lot.
“Farmers are armed…I don’t know why people don’t realise that.”
