Jamie Foxx is said to have suffered a mysterious health scare last month, with reports saying that he is still in hospital - but now fans think his daughter has given an insight into how he is doing.
The 55-year-old American actor supposedly experienced a "medical complication" while working on his upcoming Netflix film, Back In Action.
Last month it was revealed that Jamie had "experienced a medical complication", with recent reports saying that his family are "preparing for the worst".
In a fresh update amid Jamie's health woes, his daughter shared a video of an ad they did together - a month after details first emerged about her father's medical complication.
Sharing the video on May 9, his daughter Corinne Bishop, 29, wrote: “First he’s learning how to sync his phone with his #IntelEvo laptop, next thing you know he’ll be editing photos all by himself. Baby steps, @iamjamiefoxx. Baby steps. #ProudDaughter".
But although an advert, fans think it could an update on the Texas-born star's health, with many taking to the comments to speculate about the actor's progress.
"Could his status be in her message? Baby steps. Prayers," penned one fan, which garnered replied that read: "That’s the first thing came to my mind," "I was thinking the same thing" and “I definitely believe so."
Another person went on to comment: "She is saying 'baby steps'. She's trying to tell us that he should be okay."
While a third added: "Yes babysteps are great progress.”
Meanwhile more than 500 other fans went on to send their well wishes and prayers in the comments of the post on Corinne's page.
Last week, Jamie's condition was said to have improved, with sources claiming doctors are doing more tests before allowing him to leave and have advised him to "keep his stress level down".
"Jamie is stable and not in a life-threatening situation now," the source told People. "[Doctors] are doing more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be okay before allowing him to leave the hospital."
And recently his pal Kevin Hart seemingly confirmed that Foxx was recovering when he said: "I think the dope thing is that he's getting better in his situation."
Kevin speaking out came when he appeared on the Impaulsive podcast, with him adding: "Everybody's prayers, everybody's love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt. So, in this case, man, you just want the guy to get out of the situation he's in and get back home."
