It has been hinted at by James Milner that the Liverpool utility man and Manchester City forward Erling Haaland may have chatted about Leeds United during their Sunday afternoon clash at Anfield.
In what was a thrilling game, Liverpool managed to inflict a first defeat of season upon Manchester City courtesy of a second-half Mohamed Salah strike.
However, something that will interest Leeds fans was the fact that Milner and Haaland chatted about the Whites during the game.

Both have strong ties to the city given it's where they were born, with Milner beginning his career at Leeds United, while Erling's links go back to his father Alfie, who was a Whites player when his son was born in the city.
It wouldn't be the first time Haaland has talked about Leeds either. In the past, the world class forward has said he would love to one day win the Premier League with the Whites and has also spoken to Stuart Dallas about them when the two faced off on international duty.
And speaking after the game, Milner was quizzed about whether the two Leeds-born stars discussed their hometown team during Liverpool's 1-0 win.
"I can confirm he said he was going to sign for Leeds a few years ago when we played against him and he was obviously lying so that’s disappointing," said Milner with a grin on his face.
And when asked a follow-up about whether the pair spoke about Leeds on the pitch during Sunday's pulsating clash, Milner replied: "We had a little chat."
