Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has a special matchup of note this weekend against the Tennessee Titans.
There, Chase will get to line up across from Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton, a guy he went to Archbishop Rummel in Metairie, La. with before going they went to LSU together.

We’ve been battling since ninth grade when I was playing receiver,” Chase said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “He’s the reason I’m really good, too. He’s fast. He’s got an all-around game. If I can get him uncomfortable then I can win.”
Fulton, a second-round pick in 2020, has carved out a nice career for himself in Tennessee and should see some usage against Chase, especially if the Bengals keep moving the No. 1 option on offense around to different spots like the slot.
Last week, Chase had his biggest game of the year to the tune of 12 catches for 141 yards while moving all over formations. Now he will hope to do the same again against an old friend while Joe Burrow continues to play through his calf injury.
