Bristolian This Morning presenter Josie Gibson has shared an agonising plea for help as her friend and children face being stuck in Ukraine. Josie, who has been a presenter on the ITV show since late last year, shared her desperation with her Twitter followers on Sunday (February 27).
Russian forces invaded Ukraine last week as part of a Putin-ordered, largely-condemned attack on the country. As the horrific events have unfolded, scores of residents have attempted to flee the war-torn country, including Josie's friend.
According to Josie, her friend is stuck with her two British children near Kharkiv, a city in the northeast of the country. In capital letters, she Tweeted: "Please RT: This is the most important Tweet I've ever written and it's a long shot.
