The Masked Singer was back and packed with a new line-up of colourful characters for a new series on New Year's Day. As viewers played armchair detective, and celeb panellists tried to work out who is behind the mask, former footballer and sports pundit Chris Kamara was revealed to be Ghost.
The celeb singing contest sprang a double costume twist as Chris was eliminated. Ghost was uncovered, only to reveal another spooky costume underneath concealing the star's identity. One of the characters through to the next round, and winning hearts by singing the theme tune to 90s show Baywatch, was the adorable Otter.
They sang a charming rendition of the song I'm Always Here, and as the guesses came pouring in there was a surprising guess from some fans. @kamaal_i_786 tweeted confidently: "The Otter is Kate Bush #TheMaskedSingerUK #TheMaskedSinger."

They added: "I felt a fool suggesting it earlier but now I'm convinced that's her voice and diction." And thought the clue "children, some day should be seen and not heard but of this Otter I'd say opposite is the word" pointed to the rarely-seen superstar.
"Plus the last clue about liking to be heard and not seen... Catherine. Bush," they added. With Kate's debut single Wuthering Heights she became the first female artist to achieve a UK number one with a self-written song.
Her classic hits also include Babooshka, Running Up That Hill" and Don't Give Up. Her 1985 single Running Up That Hill was given a whole new lease of life last year with its starring role in a crucial scene in the Netflix drama Stranger Things.
But @Ida_Knowe disagreed: "The Otter is NOT Kate Bush, sorry." Other fans thought Otter could be comedian Dawn French. And @SuzeHopper1 said: "Only on #MaskedSingerUK where you can watch an Otter singing the #Baywatch theme tune."
