Former footballer turned presenter Chris Kamara has shared the sweet moment his grandchildren realise he is Ghost on The Masked Singer. Chris took part in the new series of the ITV entertainment show, where celebrity judges and viewers at home try to guess which celebrities are singing behind the crazy costumes, and was the first celebrity to be voted off the show.
Dressed up as Ghost, Chris went up against Otter, who is still unknown, and was not saved by the judges meaning he had to reveal himself. Chris was delighted to have taken part in the show and said he did for his grandchildren as they all sit together and chant "Take it off, take it off, take it off" each episode.
Chris has now posted to Twitter a video of his grandchildren watching him get unmasked. All chanting "Take it off" once Chris was revealed his grandson turned round and shouted "GRANDAD!" when he realised it was Chris.

While Chris laughed his granddaughter sweetly cried out "That's my grandad!". Chris captioned the video with "Magical moments #TheMaskedSinger" with love faces emojis.
A number of fans had guessed it was Chris who was Ghost however judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan did not guess correctly, instead suggesting Iain Stirling, Marti Pellow and John Bishop. You can read everything you need to know about The Masked Singer here.
In December 2022 Chris released a documentary, Chris Kamara: Lost for Words, where he spoke about his diagnosis of speech apraxia. During the documentary Chris and fellow Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling became emotional while remembering Chris's last day on Soccer Saturday.
Becoming emotional Jeff said: "The last day was tough wasn't it?" while Chris replied: "My last day working at Rotherham that was the end for me...". Jeff continued to say: "I found it really hard, a bit like now actually...it was tough" as he became more emotional. Beginning to cry Chris said: "Don't make me cry!" as he and Jeff clinked their pint glasses together.
