ITV Saturday Night Takeaway viewers complain over allegations of contest 'cheating'

ITV Saturday Night Takeaway viewers have been left frustrated over claims a contestant had 'cheated' during a contest. Ant and Dec were back on ITV from 7pm on Saturday, March 25.

But, as reported by Birmingham Live, viewers who tuned into the show were left complaining just minutes into the episode, which aired until 8.30pm. Ant and Dec used the show to promote their new show, I'm A Celebrity All Stars, which is set to air from South Africa next month.

The presenters lined up three contestants to lip read nine celebs from the new I'm A Celeb line up for the spin off, ranging from Carol Vorderman and Helen Flanagan to Amir Khan, Shaun Ryder, Paul Burrell and Janice Dickinson. The contestants had to lip read three words from these celebrities to win a place on the plane to Florida, for the finale of this year's Saturday Night Takeaway season.

Ant and Dec called up Satty, who won the ticket to the United States during the task. But fans were left angry - suggesting he was not wearing his headphones properly.

Amid allegations of cheating, one viewer raged: "He did not have those headphones over his ears the cheating swine". A second said: "Satty couldn’t of made it more obvious his headphones weren’t on."

"Sorry but that Satty geezer could definitely hear them, didn’t have the earphones on properly," agreed another. A fourth shared: "#SaturdayNightTakeaway noise cancelling headphones - satty heard every word"

Another wrote: "Satty using his headphones to win a place on the plane". And a fellow fan wrote: "I think that guy just cheated. I swear that headphones was not properly worn."
