After its first series had just one episode, crime drama Grace is back on ITV on Sunday night for a new run of episodes.
Grace launched to sizeable fanfare last March, with former Life on Mars star John Simm in the titular role of Roy Grace. The fact that Grace series one only comprised of a single part, meant that viewers only got to see Grace attempt to get to the bottom of just one case. And it was a particularly grim one as group of stags decided to bury the groom alive, putting him in a coffin and then drilling it shut, with him having just a small tube to breath through.
Unfortunately for him, someone then came out of the shadows and pulled the tube out as the groom panicked inside. Matters were then made worse by the fact that the stags were then involved in a serious car crash, which claimed some of their lives, as the groom's fiancée was left clueless as to where he was and feared the worst. Series two of Grace gets going on ITV at 8pm on Sunday, April 24 with episode Looking Good Dead, which was ready to air last year but wasn't in the UK, despite being show in the US in May 2021.
