Gemma Owen's time on ITV2's Love Island can't be mentioned without reference to her famous Dad. However, do the boys in the villa know about her connection with the ex-England striker Michael Owen. Nottingham's own Ikenna Ekwonna has claimed that Love Island contestants do know and not only that have known since the early days in the luxury Majorcan villa.
While Gemma has come close to spilling the beans during the show, she hasn't let slip the famous link - yet. And while viewers didn't need to be a detective to discover the relationship, inside the villa she's been keeping mum.
However, she did come close to letting out the secret. During a chat with fellow contestant Luca Bish, he asked if he'd get on with her dad. She declared him to be "into football and horses". It was this loaded question that has led Love Island fans to think Luca knew it was Michael Owen and now Ikenna has pretty much confirmed that at the time, he knew.
