Love Island fans were in a spin following the latest trip to the villa as it was the beginning of the end of Casa Amor. As viewers of the ITV2 dating show know, the islanders have been split for days with the boys and girls being introduced to a bunch of new contestants.
Thursday night’s episode (July 7) will see them forced to choose between staying faithful to their original partner or dumping them for one of the bombshells, in a surprise recoupling dubbed Stick or Twist. Last night's show (Wednesday) was left on a cliff-hanger during after teasing that the main villa and nearby Casa Amor will reunite for the dreaded recoupling ceremony.
The episode saw Andrew Le Page break down in tears explaining how his insecurity about "not being enough" for a woman had become a reality with his partner Tasha Ghouri. They are the only pair who have remained coupled up throughout the series despite questions over Tasha’s true feelings towards Andrew.

And despite kissing and cuddling newcomer Coco Lodge in an effort to get over Tasha, Andrew broke down in tears thinking about Tasha while on the terrace with Jacques O’Neill. In the emotional scene, Andrew said: "I haven’t cried over a girl in years. I literally opened up to her, my fears were being with someone and not being enough, she listened to that."
Jacques said: "Anyone would be lucky to have you because you’re such a respectful guy, you treat girls right." But Andrew retorted: “It's not enough for the girl I wanted." Meanwhile, Jacques has also found himself with a dilemma.
The rugby player, who is the ex-boyfriend of fellow islander Gemma Owen, has kissed newcomer Cheyanne Kerr and suggested he may recouple with her, telling the boys he wanted to get to know the new girls in order to know if his feelings for Paige Thorne are 'real'.
Dami Hope, who is coupled up with Indiyah Polak but has kissed new arrival Summer Botwe, also said of the impending ceremony: "My head’s fried, scrambled, whatever way you like your eggs. That’s the way my head is right now. I’m scared."
But Luca Bish has kept his head down throughout. Love Island viewers have watched him take his quilt and water bottle outside every night to sleep while his partner Gemma, 19, is away in the second villa. The fishmonger, 23, also hasn't been seen getting to know any of the other girls, all while watching his new mates crack on.
It has led viewers to think that Luca could be the one to blow the villa apart by telling the girls what really happened in the absence of the usual postcard. @aimeejacksx tweeted: "Luca is defo gunna go back to main villa and spill everything #LoveIsland." @aleaa_1 said: "Luca bout to snitch his way to the final #LoveIsland."
@DeolindaRafael commented: "The amount of tea Luca is gonna spill when the girls are back #LoveIsland." @shhhaai wrote: "I just know luca is so disgusted and can’t wait to spill the tea to gemma. Go off #LoveIsland." @LTB01620129 predicted: "#LoveIsland Luca will spill the beans to Gemma within 5 minutes. Guarantee it." @chlobain added: "Luca better start running his mouth to Gemma when he gets in that villa so she can tell the girls how dirty the boys have been #LoveIsland."
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
