Popstar Boy George is set to headline a Merseyside festival next year.
The Culture Club frontman recently entered the jungle for ITV's I'm a Celebrity, and it appears that the 61-year-old will be back to performing once his stint down under is done. He, along with his band, will play Phoenix Festival at Sherdley Park in May next year.
Culture Club emerged as one of the biggest acts of the 1980s, with singles such as Karma Chameleon and Do You Really Want To Hurt Me selling millions of copies. The park, which also hosts Reminisce Festival, will welcome Culture Club, along with supergroup Boyzlife over the weekend of May 27 and 28 2022.

Boy George, real name George Alan O'Dowd, is apparently being paid a record £500,000 to enter the jungle and bookies rank him among the favourites to win the competition. He is due to take part in this year's first eating challenge on the November 11 episode.
Former rugby player Mike Tindall is currently favourite to be crowned king of the jungle.
Early bird tickets for Phoenix Festival go on sale on November 10, you can buy them here.
