ITV Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh 'super happy' as role replacement confirmed

Ranvir Singh Good Morning Britain Louisa James

Ranvir Singh has sent a supportive message to her replacement on Good Morning Britain.

The 44-year-old TV presenter and journalist left her political role on the ITV news programme in December. However, she has remained on the programme as one of the show's regular presenters and newsreaders.

Ranvir joined the ITV programme during its launch in 2014 as a features correspondent and three years later she became political editor of the ITV show with viewers regularly seeing her outside Westminster. A new face has now been confirmed to fill the political role, stepping into Ranvir's former shoes.
