However the meteorologist suffered an embarrassing blunder when she explained it was a "frosty start" to the day.

Laura thought she had covered up her mistake, but the gaffe was addressed live on air after Andi Peters competition segment in Thailand.

Ben Shephard said: "You need to be careful when saying Phuket, don't you Andi?"

"Laura Tobin, earlier, promised us a frosty... what did you say, Laura?"

Laura was mortified as she confessed she said "frosty fart" - and fans on Twitter erupted in hysterics after the slip-up.

Denise said: "More weather from the frosty fart."

Mbr added: "Umm did Laura say frosty fart?"

@AndyGrundy10 joked: "Have a great Friday/weekend everyone. It’s a 'frosty fart start' according to @Lauratobin1 so be careful on them roads
