Emmerdale star Paigeg Sandhu issued an update on whether Meena Jutla could return to the show.
The soap star is renowned for her portrayal of the villainous nurse. Meena wreaked havoc in the fictional Yorkshire village after she killed Leanna Cavanagh last summer.
She went on to claim the lives of Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker before her reign of terror came to an end when she was arrested earlier this year. The character was sentenced to a minimum of 75 years and Paige has said she would be thrilled if the serial killer could ever return to the show.

She told OK!: "Oh my God, of course I want her to get away with it. I love her, but will that happen? Who knows.
"The reaction from viewers was so lovely, I was expecting a lot of hate because Meena is a baddie. But people really loved her and some are even rooting for her to get away with it. It's really nice."
Paige was speaking to OK! at the TRIC Awards. Her portrayal has won acclaim from fans and the soap picked up the Soap of the Year award at the ceremony.
The 25-year-old admitted she missed the show, but said she has a number of new projects she is currently considering.
She added: "It's been nice to relax. I miss it, obviously, because the people are so lovely. I love my cast members and my crew members but it's been nice to just have a lie in.
"I've got a few things in the pipeline. If I could play baddies for the rest of my life I would, they're just so fun. I love characters that have something strange about them, something weird. I just like doing odd things on camera."
