After 17 days of life in the jungle Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver became the third celebrity to leave I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here! after getting to know a host of fellow celebs in the jungle. Sue, who plays Corrie legend Eileen Grimshaw, had swapped Weatherfeld life to run the gauntlet in the Australian bush.
She screamed with delight as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly arrived in camp to break the news that she had been voted out just over a week ago. "Camp life, I've adored it. I've loved waking up in the jungle but you can stuff your trials where the sun don't shine," she quipped.
She told Ant and Dec: "I've had ride of my life and I'll never forget it." And she added jokingly: "I'm glad it ended there because you don't want to see bad Sue."

After the final on Sunday night, which saw Lioness Jill Scott crowned Queen of the Jungle, the cast and their loved-ones were reunited for a wrap party. Sue, who has played Street Cars taxi cab controller Eileen since 2000, shared a selection of photos from their final meal together on her Instagram.
"About last night… Just a handful of pics from the wrap party… #imaceleb #soreheads," she wrote as she photographed her campmates including singer Boy George, DJ Chris Moyles, A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas, former health secretary Matt Hancock, former England rugby player Mike Tindall and Mike's royal wife Zara Tindall.
Sue posted a snap of herself getting a hug from Zara, who is the late Queen's granddaughter and the 20th in line to the British throne, as the ladies smiled for the camera. "Look like sisters," said Sue's co-star Ryan Thomas who played her son Jason. And lilac16012 said: "Mike's camp wife and real wife."
But back in the UK Corrie fans were scratching their heads as Sue's character Eileen popped up in the cab office chatting with Sean Tully in Tuesday night's episode (November 29). @j_raff2021 tweeted: "Welcome back to you Eileen from I’m a Celebrity jungle in Australia."
@ChantalMascoe said: "Eileen back from Australia." @runninoncaffine exclaimed: "Eileen is back then!" And @RyanTheSoapking remarked: "Eileen got back from Australia quick." But@hollycarruthers explained: "Sue filmed them scenes as Eileen before she left for the jungle she isn’t even back in the UK yet."
During her stint in the jungle Sue amazed her campmates as she revealed how a chance encounter at a theatre led her to meet her birth mother. She explained that when she was in her early twenties she was at drama school. The Royal Exchange in Manchester were looking for “tiny parts” for the theatre production of Oedipus.
She recalled that after walking in on the first day, an actor said: “Oh my god, she’s the absolute double of my wife when I met her,” before asking her for her date of birth. Sue said he then asked where she was born: “And I went, ‘Barnet.’ He rung his wife and he said, ‘I’ve found her’.”
