Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has revealed that she's six months pregnant with her third child - and reckons she could pick a soap-inspired name for the baby.
The Fiz Brown actress, 38, started out the New Year by sharing her exciting news. Jennie already shares two children, Albert, eight, and Hilda, four, with her husband of almost six years Chris Farr.
In an exclusive chat with Ok! Magazine, Jennie said that she found out she was pregnant again while on a camping trip with her family. She felt nauseous and the familiar feeling prompted her to take a pregnancy test.

She added that her and Chris were 'thrilled' to be welcoming another addition to the family, while her children are excited to meet their new brother or sister. "They had been talking about wanting [a new sibling] before," Jennie said, adding: "They’re really excited. From day one [they’ve been] touching my tummy and talking to the baby. They talk to the baby every day."
With Albert and Hilda, the couple decided to wait until their births to find out the genders. Jennie plans on doing the same with baby number three - and confessed that they will probably also be given a Coronation Street-inspired name.
Jennie, who is due to give birth in April, loves the ITV1 soap and its characters so much it was one of the reasons she named her daughter Hilda, after the iconic character Hilda Ogden. She explained: “With Albert and Hilda, we had the name, but when they were born, we were like, ‘That’s the one.’
“It just kind of happened, so I think it’ll probably be the same. Hilda was a family name for us and we loved it. But Hilda Ogden is an absolute Coronation Street icon and I am a big Coronation Street fan, so I love that it is a nod to that.
"Jean Alexander, who played Hilda, sadly died before Hilda was born. I can probably guarantee that whatever the name we choose, it will have been a character in Corrie – I don’t know how to avoid it!”
