Coronation Street star William Roache has issued an update on his show future.
The Ken Barlow actor is a soap legend and appeared on the very first episode of the ITV show in 1960. William has been a mainstay on the Cobbles ever since and holds the Guinness World Record for the longest serving television star in a continuous role.
The Corrie legend still makes occasional appearances on the Cobbles, but his role is not as prominent as it used to be. William is set to celebrate his 90th birthday on April 25, but the actor revealed he has "no intention of retiring" just yet.
