ITV Coronation Street fans 'work out' how Kelly will exit after latest Aadi decision

Coronation Street fans think they know how Millie Gibson will leave the cobbles as her character Kelly Neelan presses on with her plans to marry Aadi Alahan. The teenagers realised they had true feelings for each other in sweet scenes aired in the ITV soap last week.

The friends had been pretending to be engaged in order to enter a Win A Dream Wedding competition that could have seen them jet off abroad. In a plot to get their hands on a holiday, Kelly told the Gazette that she and Aadi are engaged and to qualify, the pair had to take part in a Mr and Mrs Quiz.

The young lovebirds then got to work on getting to know each other better and soon shared with each other how they wanted to continue their new sexual relationship. A smitten Aadi gave Kelly his late mum's ring to continue their charade of appearing as though they are engaged.

After completing the Mr and Mrs Quiz, which didn't quite go to a perfect plan and ended in a row between the pair, Aadi and Kelly have continued on with their engagement in secret. That was until they decided to come clean during Corrie scenes aired on Monday night (August 29).

After Aadi's dad Dev Alahan caught them getting cosy on the sofa of his home, the couple decided to invite him and daughter Asha out for dinner at the Bistro, with Kelly's guardians Maria and Gary Windass all invited so they can share their news. But when Dev and Gary's meeting at the dinner got off to a prickly start, Aadi and Kelly changed their mind about revealing their news.

However, that was soon taken out of their control as Maria came rushing into the Bistro and revealed their engagement after seeing them talking about their newfound love to the Gazette online. As expected, the news wasn't welcomed by their families and the meal was over before it really began.

Back at home, with Gary attempting to cool things with Dev, the corner shop owner lashed out and hit his son, leaving him threatening to leave and never come back with blood pouring from his nose. Meeting up with Kelly, the teens decide to ignore the words of their peers and begin to draw up plans to elope and wed at Gretna Green.

But with Corrie viewers aware Kelly will soon be leaving Weatherfield after actress Millie's decision to leave the soap was revealed, they don't think there will be a happy ending for the couple and have 'worked out' what will happen next.

@nicky.jinks said: "Oh please don’t kill her off in a car crash en route back from Gretna or something. She’s brilliant and Aadi really good too - shame we won’t see them together for long, they’d have been great!" @hamletthevizsla commented: "Must be a car crash storyline or you wouldn't have written it like this."

@debbie.forse.507 replied: "I love Kelly she good with with him I hope they get married lovely couple I got feeling they both have a car crash going miss her." @OX0X0X0 shared: "Is Kelly's plans to marry Aadi in Gretna Green the last bit of happiness she gets before her exit? What the hell happens then? Maybe she dies, leaving Aadi a teenage widower, a tragic love story perhaps? #corrie."

After Corrie asked if the couple's plan to elope will 'come off' Hazel Hartley wrote on Facebook: "I think they will but unfortunately I think there could be a crash and Kelly dies." Dra San echoed: "Think she dies in a crash on the way."
